Experience
I am a tutor with extensive experience studying and teaching math. I am currently attending Washington University. I have four years of tutoring experience. I have experience working with students of various ages. I am comfortable tutoring students in a variety of math-related subjects, including algebra 1, algebra 2, arithmetic, calculus 1-3, geometry, multivariable calculus, pre-calculus, statistics, and trigonometry. While I primarily tutor students in math, I can also tutor students in physics. I am also available to help them prepare for standardized tests, including the ACT and SAT. I am the most passionate about linear algebra, calculus, and pre-algebra. I am able to tutor students in math at the elementary school level and the middle school level as well. My philosophy as a tutor emphasizes the fact that each student learns differently. I enjoy discovering the best way for a student to learn and adapting my teaching style to fit his or her learning style. I also enjoy discovering exactly what questions students need answered in order to comprehend complex concepts. In my free time, I enjoy road cycling and exploring restaurants in the St. Louis area. I also like to bike, play with cats and dogs, watch movies, and play soccer with my friends.
